BRSBENT SQ is a versatile activated bentonite with strong thixotropic properties, ideal for all freshwater based drilling systems. It suits slurry TBM, deep foundations, and HDD projects, with adjustable rheology for optimal performance in diverse drilling applications.

How BRSBENT SQ Is Used
Check the water quality (pH and EC) and pretreat with pH CONTROL® if needed. Add the calculated amount of selected BRSBENT® SQ slowly into the mixer. Mix the slurry intensely for at least 30 minutes. Hydrate the slurry in the activation tanks with circulation for 4 hours to achieve optimum rheology.

How It's Supplied
Keep the product in its original packaging at normal temperature and protect it from humidity. A loss of rheological and filtrate properties may result from inadequate storage.

GHS Hazard Classification: Not classified as a hazardous substance under GHS / OSHA Hazard Communication Standards. The product is a non combustible mineral no fire or dust explosion hazard. In practice, the hazards are: mild dust irritation to respiratory tract, skin and eyes; a slip hazard from spilled or wetted powder, which forms an extremely slippery film; and naturally occurring quartz content (1–2%), so prolonged inhalation of dust should be avoided.
